Formal Definition
An ultra-concise patient summary, typically 1-2 sentences, used on busy services or when time is limited.
How It's Used on the Ward
"Give me the bullet" = keep it extremely short.

""72-year-old woman, CHF exacerbation, here for diuresis, down 3 liters, trending well, anticipate discharge tomorrow.""
