How It's Used on the Ward
"Push 1mg of epi." "1mg of epi, pushing now." - repeat back to confirm.
Example
"Code blue: "Give 1mg epinephrine IV." Nurse: "1mg epinephrine IV, given." This prevents errors in high-stress situations."
Clinical Context
Critical in codes, procedures, and any urgent situation. It feels awkward at first but prevents serious medication errors.
